You're charged based on the actual compute time used. When a VM is running, we bill per minute. When it's stopped or terminated, you pay nothing. Simple as that.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can add more credits anytime. We'll notify you when your balance is low. Running VMs will continue, and you can set up auto-reload to never run out.
